Kirky The Beekeeper Harvests Nature’s Sweetest Gift for the Community
This season, Kirky The Beekeeper—also known as Del Kirkland—teamed up with fellow members of the local beekeeping club to harvest what may be some of the sweetest, best-tasting honey in Williamsburg.
With the summer sun high and the hives thriving, Kirky and his partners carefully collected frames filled with golden honey straight from the heart of Lewsekett Apiary. The honey, raw and unfiltered, is a reflection of the region’s vibrant wildflowers and the tireless work of local honeybee colonies.
“Every harvest is a gift,” says Kirky The Beekeeper, who has been caring for bees with passion and purpose for years. “Sharing this honey with the community is one of the best parts of the job.”
The harvest was not only a success but a celebration of community, collaboration, and craftsmanship. With the help of his club partners, Kirky was able to extract and bottle enough honey to supply eager customers and neighbors who have come to trust his name for quality and authenticity.
Keep an eye out at local markets and community events—Kirky The Beekeeper’s latest batch is golden, smooth, and straight from the hive.
